INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS of IIR

With the purpose of strengthening existing relations with foreign partners, establishing a new contacts and make a new contracts, IIR created an International Department. The Department is independent structural division of IIR.

The Department is guided by the current legislation of Ukraine, normative documents of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, orders of Director of Institute and Regulation about a Department.

The primary goal of the Department is assistance to maintenance and development of communications with foreign partners.According to the assigned problems, Department realized the assigned following functions:

• Assistance of integration of Institute and NAS of Ukraine in global scientific community, realization of the programs accepted in scientific sphere.
• Cooperation with foreign scientific institutions and the organizations within the framework of existing agreements and contracts.
• Definition the priority directions of cooperation, planning of external communications, participation in development of plans and programs of international activity.
• Supporting of the international projects.
• Preparation and distribution of the information on activity of IIR and possible directions of cooperation with foreign establishments and organizations.
• The Invitation of partners and representatives of the interested establishments and the organizations, participation in the organization and carrying of negotiations and meetings with them, the coordination and signing of corresponding documents.
• Realization of the actions for making the international conferences, seminars, meetings, etc.
• The Organization the scientific and education conferences, exhibitions, seminars, lectures on the international subjects, etc.
